Did you know that food choices and eating habits play and important role in preventing tooth decay?

It is recommended that people limit their food intake (including drinks) between meals.  However sometimes it must happen, it is very important to choose a healthy snack such us cheese, nuts, fruits , vegetables for an overall health and a healthy teeth and stay away from foods like lollies, citrus fruits because they can make the enamel more prone to tooth decay, sticky foods, soft drinks and sports drinks.

Always remember the Bacteria in your mouth use carbohydrates for food, so read food labels and have a low sugar diet.
